About the role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to operate in a stand alone HR role with responsibility for your own site at our Distribution Centre in Corby, Northamptonshire (10 minutes from our Head Office in Market Harborough).

Along with our Distribution function there are other key departments based at the site including IT, Logistics and Customer Services.

Reporting to our HR Director, you will drive the implementation of the HR Plan to support the continued growth of this rapidly expanding and highly successful business, maintaining our unique culture is high on the agenda with communication and engagement as number one priorities. There will be full support provided from a centralised Resourcing team, HR Operations team and a Learning and Development function.

Essential experience/skills:

  • You will be highly credible, preferably CIPD qualified HR Business Partner. 
  • You must have DC experience and preferably worked within unionised environments.
  • Robust and resilient with a strong ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and activities to deliver those adding real value to the site and business.
  • Highly effective communicator both on a one to one and group basis.
  • Able to quickly develop really effective long term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Unflappable and able to deal with complex and challenging issues in a calm and composed manner.
