About the role

We now have an exciting new opportunity for a talented Design & Buying Administrator to join our existing team here in Market Harborough on a part-time basis working three days a week on Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays.

Reporting to the Footwear Designer this is a key role that is pivotal to the continued growth and success of this team.

Responsibilities will include:-

  • Supporting the Designer and the Buyers in all aspects of the footwear function, including data entry onto our PLM system
  • Providing administrative support to the Designer and Buyers both pre and post meetings as well as liaising with suppliers for updates on samples and product requests.
  • Assisting in seasonal research across all genders and products (Wellies, slippers, summer & casual footwear)
  • Help with CADs when necessary
  • Working with the Designer to create Initial Design Sheets
  • Communicating efficiently and effectively between Buying and Suppliers with style/material updates and changes
  • Liaising with our Fabric Department to help manage our material library/references

Ideally you will have a design related degree as Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency is a must. The successful candidate will also be analytical and organised with strong literacy and numeracy skills and have xxperience of working within a design or buying admin environment.
