About the role
We have a great opportunity in our Finance team here at Joules’ Head Office in Market Harborough for an Accounts Assistant on a 12-Month Fixed term Contract. We are on the search for a bright, enthusiastic individual with a pro-active approach to join our close-knit Finance Team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the ideal candidate should already have some experience in a finance environment and will have a proven track record of working to tight deadlines with the ability to prioritise their workload. Key responsibilities include assisting the finance team to deliver a high and consistent standard of financial control and management information for decision-making. To take ownership of bank reconciliations for Joules UK, Joules USA Inc, and Hong Kong Limited, also to perform month end reconciliations, bank reconciliations, import duty and VAT checking etc.
Other key tasks will include processing employee expenses, providing cover and daily assistance for the travel coordinator, carry out weekly reconciliations for company credit card, processing supplier payment run, ensuring all monthly deadlines for management accounts are achieved for your area.
